How To Fix The Sound On A Super Nintendo
What to do
- If the image from the system is displayed correctly on the TV or monitor but there is no sound, ensure that the volume is not muted on the TV.
Important: It is important to note that not all game demos include sound. If you are experiencing sound issues while in a game demo, return back to the HOME menu or try starting a game.
- Power down the TV or monitor, and power down the system by sliding the Power switch to the OFF position.
- Unplug the HDMI cable from the console and from the TV or monitor.
- Unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet and the USB cable from the console.
- Check the serial number on the bottom of the console.
- Systems sold in the Americas will have the serial number prefix "SU" followed by nine digits.
- Any other serial number prefix indicates the system is from another region.
